Plumbing Service & Repair Technician

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. Technicians diagnose plumbing problems, determine repair options, write estimates, and perform repairs/installations. Technicians work both independently and collaboratively. Success in this role comes from a customer-service mindset. This is an immediate, full-time position.

• Dispatch to jobs, provide estimates, sell plumbing jobs, write invoices, and collect payment from customers.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various plumbing systems, including water, sewer, and drainage lines.
• Knowledge of Service Titan software.
• Maintain accurate records regarding work performed.
• Daily communication with the District Manager (DM) and dispatcher.
• Diagnose and explain plumbing issues to customers and address the problem.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills that instill customer confidence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
• Regular maintenance of the company vehicle and equipment; communicate with management if attention or repair is needed.
• Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance.
• Follow all company policies and comply with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.

• No on-call requirements
• Work hours:
  
  7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Saturdays are half-day;
  Sundays off
• Dispatched from home
• Fully equipped company truck with parts, equipment, and gas card
• Helpers on jobs
• Company uniforms, iPad, gas cards, and company credit cards

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
• 1+ year of plumbing experience in service and repair; drain cleaning experience is a plus
• Experience with sewer line inspections is preferred
• Experience with Service Titan is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
