What

You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain installation schedules for all active roofing projects, ensuring optimal crew allocation and project coverage.
  • Assign crews and subcontractors based on availability, project requirements, and skill sets.
  • Schedule and dispatch roofing crews to job sites, providing clear details on job scope, timing, and location.
  • Confirm installation appointments with customers and communicate any changes proactively.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to forecast manpower needs for upcoming months.
  • Maintain a rolling look-ahead schedule to track project starts, milestones, and labor demands.
  • Adjust schedules as needed for project overlaps, weather delays, or permitting issues.
  • Track crew availability, certifications, travel logistics, and job-specific skill requirements to ensure proper resource alignment.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to confirm materials readiness for scheduled installations.
  • Serve as the central liaison between project management, field teams, HR, and subcontractors, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Identify potential labor shortages, schedule conflicts, or bottlenecks and work with internal teams to implement solutions.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on labor utilization, upcoming needs, and schedule adherence.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in installation or construction scheduling (roofing experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of field labor coordination in construction or skilled trades
  • Familiarity with roofing systems, installation workflows, and jobsite readiness practices
  • Proficiency with scheduling software such as Smartsheet, Job Nimbus, MS Project, Acculynx, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Experience reading construction drawings and understanding scopes of work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience with union and non-union labor scheduling is a plus
  • Familiarity with architectural products, HVAC, or other trades is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Ability to identify workforce trends and provide strategic labor planning insights
