Facility Maintenance Technician (Must Have Exp With Commercial Kitchens) Job Description
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will travel to various fast food restaurants and gas stations to perform facilities and plumbing repairs. You will be responsible for identifying and fixing leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and performing repairs while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Documentation of work will be required through a mobile app, hence candidates must be comfortable with using smartphones.
ResponsibilitiesTravel to various locations for facilities and plumbing repairs.
Identify and fix leaks, clogs, and broken pipes.
Install FRP walls in restaurant kitchens for easy cleanable surfaces.
Perform maintenance on grease traps, floor sinks/drains.
Utilize tools such as snake, jet, camera or scope for plumbing tasks.
Replace water heaters and install back flow systems.
Locate pipes, clogs, and breaks efficiently.
Maintain thorough documentation using mobile apps.
Provide outstanding customer service and communication.
1+ years of plumbing experience.
Proficiency in facilities maintenance and construction.
Experience with FRP wall installations.
Ability to use plumbing tools such as snake, jet, camera or scope.
Comfortable with smartphone technology for documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
Must have own set of basic tools.
Good attitude, team player, and effective communicator.
Willingness to learn and ask questions.
Experience in commercial construction is beneficial.

Work EnvironmentWork shifts vary between 8am-5pm and 8pm-5am. Employees will be provided with work uniforms, a cell phone, a gas card, and access to the company's Home Depot account for supplies. A company vehicle will be used for all jobs and can be taken home. Technicians rotate being on-call for emergency calls one week at a time, with schedules provided approximately six weeks in advance.
If a vacation is planned, it is the technician's responsibility to arrange coverage.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.40 - $29.40/hr.
