Schedule:
Flexibility required (on call style position) 40 to 60 hrs/week (50 average)
Compensation starting at $30/hr (plus 1.5x for OT hours worked)
Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic or Technician with at least 3 to 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, working hands on knowledge of electrical is helpful (110v-480v). In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various equipment—such as pumps, compressors, and motors—critical to maintaining high environmental standards within our facility. Flexibility is key, as the role includes on-call scheduling and weekend availability as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Repair Equipment:
Service and repair pumps (e.g., diaphragm pumps, Gorman-Rupp pumps), motors, air compressors, and other plant equipment. - Operational Support:
Work alongside plant operators to ensure smooth operations and efficient production output. - Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues to ensure minimal downtime. - Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations, maintain proper use of PPE, and ensure compliance with environmental standards. - Plumbing and Electrical:
Conduct installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical systems to keep equipment operating effectively. - Education and
Qualifications: - Experience:
3-5 years in mechanical maintenance, ideally in an industrial, water, or wastewater environment. - Mechanical
Skills:
Strong aptitude for repairing pumps, valves, motors, and industrial equipment. - Plumbing and Electrical
Experience:
Required for installations and maintenance; PLC knowledge is a bonus. - Diagnosing electrical issues:
Using test meters and other diagnostic equipment to locate and troubleshoot problems is a plus. - Desirable
Skills:
Welding experience, HVAC systems, and boiler knowledge are all valuable but not mandatory. - Certifications:
HVAC or boiler certifications are a plus.
