Project Overview

Marquee Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) expansion delivering critical public infrastructure in the Phoenix metro. Electrical scope includes duct banks, conduit/cable tray, medium-voltage & 480V distribution, MCCs/switch gear, VFDs, PLC panels, grounding/bonding, motor/instrument terminations, I&C coordination, and support through startup/commissioning in an inspection-heavy environment.

Position Summary

The Electrical Supervisor/Foreman leads daily field operations for assigned electrical scopes. You’ll plan work, direct crews and subs, enforce safety/quality, track quantities and schedule, and coordinate with project leadership, inspectors, integrators, and other trades to hit milestone turnovers.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution

  • Build/run 2–3 week look-aheads
    , manpower loading, tool/equipment plans, and material pulls.

  • Direct field work:
    trenching/shoring
    , duct-bank installation (500+ yards),
    conduit/cable tray
    , wire pulls,
    grounding/bonding
    , device/equipment setting, motor/VFD/MCC terminations.

  • Coordinate concrete activities tied to electrical (embeds, pads/vaults, anchor bolts).

  • Stage materials, manage laydown, and prevent delays via timely requests and deliveries.

Field Leadership

  • Supervise 5–20+ craft (journeymen, apprentices, subs); assign tasks, monitor productivity, coach for quality/throughput.

  • Lead daily huddles/toolbox talks
    ; communicate goals, hazards, constraints.

  • Maintain accurate daily logs (activities, quantities, manpower, equipment).

Technical Oversight

  • Read/execute IFC drawings
    , one-lines, panel schedules, P&IDs, site plans, and details.

  • Ensure installs meet NEC
    , project specs, and WWTP standards (MCCs/switch gear, VFDs, heat trace, lighting, grounding).

  • Support QA/QC
    : continuity/megger tests, torque checks, point-to-point/loop checks, redlines/as-builts.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce OSHA 1926
    , NFPA 70E
    , LOTO, trench/excavation safety, confined space, fall protection, arc-flash PPE.

  • Keep areas inspection-ready
    ; coordinate with AHJs/owner reps; close punch/NCRs quickly.

Coordination & Documentation

  • Interface with Supers, PMs, I&C integrators, civil/mech leads, and OEMs/vendors.

  • Elevate plan conflicts via RFIs
    ; review submittals/shop drawings for field impact.

  • Track quantities; verify percent-complete; input to progress billing and change docs.

Minimum Qualifications (Hard Requirements)
  • Active Journeyman Electrician License (Any State).

  • Proven industrial/WWTP electrical experience with crew supervision.

  • Hands‑on proficiency with duct banks, conduit/cable tray, wire pulls, grounding, MCCs/switch gear, VFDs, motor terminations
    ; basic I&C coordination.

  • Strong plan/spec reading; able to drive field solutions via RFIs/redlines
    .

  • Safety leadership; working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E
    ; consistent LOTO & excavation safety.

  • Must pass pre‑employment background and drug screening
    .

Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA-30
    , First Aid/CPR, recent NFPA 70E training.

  • Medium‑voltage (5kV/15kV) terminations/grounding experience.

  • WWTP startup/commissioning exposure (MCC/SWGR energization, loop checks with integrators/SCADA).

  • NCCER or equivalent; prior Foreman/Supervisor on municipal/WWTP projects.

Work Conditions & Schedule
  • Full‑time with OT as needed to meet milestones.

  • Active construction site; frequent walking/climbing; outdoor Arizona conditions.

  • Lift/carry 50+ lbs
    ; extended standing; use of hand/power tools and test gear.
