The position of Drill and Locator Operator involves tasks such as operating drilling equipment, locating underground utilities. Operators will also ensure that all work adheres to safety and quality standards while maintaining accurate records of projects.

• Proficiency in handling cables and cabling techniques
• Knowledge of fiber optics systems and applications
• Skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to underground utilities
• Experience with fiber systems, including installation and maintenance
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in construction and utility work
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate construction equipment safely
• Experience in underground construction or telecommunications is an asset
