The Leasing Specialist role will manage and lead in-person tours for prospective residents and sell the units to encourage application submittal. They will work on improving occupancy and preventing stale units through marketing and analyzing the local market. In addition, this role will help enhance the move‑in experience after residents have signed their leases with the Application Admin and enhance the community’s curb appeal.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Conduct scheduled in‑person tours with prospective residents, manage the Funnel/Outlook calendar.
- Build rapport with prospective and current residents, address concerns, and provide accurate information about policies.
- Use property management software, digital marketing tools, and leasing platforms to track leads, manage applications, and maintain accurate records.
- Plan and facilitate resident events, coordinate outreach programs, and stay aware of resident needs and preferences.
- Identify and resolve resident concerns, from maintenance issues to service inquiries, ensuring positive experiences and retention.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
- 1+ years of sales experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively over writing, phone, and computer mediums.
- Proficiency with technology including computer software and iPad.
- Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
- A driver’s license is required.
- Wonderlic pre‑employment assessment required if minimum qualifications are met during resume screening.
