Schedule:
Monday - Friday (7:00AM - 4:00 PM)
The Street Outreach Driver provides transportation in a 7-passenger minivan to unhoused or at‑risk youth to NAC facilities, community services, health appointments, and other destinations. The driver collaborates closely with the Street Outreach Case worker to provide compassionate, safe, and respectful service. The ideal candidate is dependable, culturally sensitive, and committed to supporting vulnerable youth populations.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and timely transportation for outreach staff and clients to NAC facilities, service providers, and other destinations as directed.
- Conduct routine vehicle safety checks including fueling, checking tire pressure, cleaning windshield and windows, maintaining fluid levels and the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Maintain a log of mileage, stops, and clients’ transportation details in accordance with program guidelines.
- Report any vehicle damage or incidents to management and complete an Accident Report Form.
- Assist in monitoring Drop‑in Center clients while on NAC site and support staff as needed during service delivery.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a passenger van.
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and submit to annual MVD reports.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, and clients.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and ethical boundaries when working with at‑risk individuals.
- Bi‑lingual (Spanish) is preferred.
- Experience in working with the Native American population preferred.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem‑solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Able to stand, bend or kneel for long periods.
- Able to sit, stand, walk with or without accommodations.

Fair Labor Standards ActThis position is considered Non‑Exempt and entitled to overtime pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per workweek for overtime pay provisions as provided by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and any applicable state laws.
