, you’ll lead initiatives that strengthen relationships, create meaningful programs, and ensure our partnerships deliver real impact. This role is central to advancing APS’s mission of safety, reliability, and affordability while fostering trust and collaboration with key stakeholders.
What your day would be like:
You are responsible for:
- Lead the execution and measurement of community programs, events, and partnerships that align with APS’s strategic goals.
- Engage and mobilize internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize positive impact.
- Support the Manager of Strategic Partnerships in driving the vision for APS Community Affairs.
- Assess current partnerships to ensure they achieve desired social and business outcomes.
- Collaborate across departments to maintain alignment with company objectives and community needs.

- Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Non-Profit Management or related fields
- PLU S five (5) years related experience in community development, community relations and/or corporate philanthropy;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization and external stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and coordinate the efforts of other team members in support of events.
- Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management, organizational, planning and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Position involves regular evening and weekend work as well as statewide travel.
- Understanding of Arizonas rural communities is a plus.
