We’re seeking a
Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin) to join our fast‑moving team. You’ll play a key role in building a
next‑generation orchestration and automation platform that powers thousands of business processes across the enterprise.

This role isn’t about coding one‑off automations — you’ll help
design and build the platform, APIs, and orchestration components that developer teams across the company will use to define, run, and scale their workflows.

You’ll be hands‑on in Kotlin every day, integrating workflow orchestration frameworks and enabling
GenAI‑powered automation capabilities.

• Design and build backend platform services in
  Kotlin for ingestion, orchestration, RBAC, monitoring, and developer tooling.
• Implement and optimize workflow orchestration frameworks (
  Temporal, Cadence, Camunda, Argo
  , etc.).
• Develop
  scalable APIs and abstractions that empower other teams to build workflows on the platform.
• Integrate
  GenAI/NLP pipelines for intent parsing, process matching, and intelligent decision‑making.
• Enhance developer experience through
  tooling, CI/CD
  , and
  observability improvements
  .
• Lead design reviews, mentor backend engineers, and guide technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and process teams to ensure platform adoption and business impact.

• Bachelor’s degree in
  Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
  , or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years
  of backend engineering experience with strong
  Kotlin/JVM
  expertise.
• Proven success in
  building platforms, frameworks, or orchestration services (not just applications).
• Hands‑on experience with workflow orchestration systems (
  Temporal, Cadence, Camunda, Argo
  , etc.).
• Strong understanding of
  distributed systems, event‑driven architecture, and API design
  .
• Experience integrating
  GenAI/NLP into backend systems.
• Familiarity with
  RBAC and enterprise security models
  .
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• A strong bias for action, comfort in
  lean teams
