Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience
• Very strong hands‑on experience with Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot
• Strong proficiency and hands‑on coding experience in REST based APIs, Java, Spring, Kotlin, GoLang, Couchbase, Mongo
  
  DB, Postgre
  
  SQL, DB2, Akamai, AWS, GCP, Azure
• Expertise primarily in Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• Git Hub Actions, Git Hub Enterprise, Jenkins
• Hands‑on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing
• Experience with distributed (multi‑tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; advanced degree preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications
• Communicate complex data structures and components
• Design, code, test, maintain, and document application components
• Lead reviews of colleagues’ work
• Define test conditions based on functional and non‑functional requirements
• Deep understanding of core tools used in planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining assigned applications
• Deep understanding of infrastructure, technologies, and components
• Assess and interview team members to identify and develop talent
  
  Influence leadership and make timely decisions
• Monitor system performance and availability and improve software quality through root cause analysis
• Track record of influencing technological growth across teams

Generic Managerial Skills (if any)

• Understanding of content deployment, scheduling, and migration processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business users

$90,000 – $115,000 per year
