Java Developer, Data Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Java Tech lead for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC (Remote). Candidate must have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and experience managing scalable data pipelines.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design and implement data flow solutions using Apache NiFi, including ingestion, transformation, and routing of data from multiple sources.
- Develop and integrate microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support data processing and validation workflows.
- Manage and optimize NiFi clusters for scalability, performance, and reliability in handling large data volumes.
- Design and develop Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration, ensuring modular and reusable pipeline automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data integration issues and ensure smooth end-to-end data processing.
- Implement best practices for performance tuning and scalability across NiFi and Airflow environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in software development with strong leadership in Java technologies.
- Deep expertise in Apache NiFi for data flow design and management, including cluster optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, along with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Pay Details:$55.00 to $60.00 per hour
