Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who blends hands‑on technical strength with thoughtful people leadership. This role suits an accomplished engineer who has already led teams, as well as a senior or lead developer eager to grow into formal management responsibilities while remaining deeply involved in the work.

• Eight or more years of professional experience building and supporting production software.
• 2+ years of experience managing, leading, or supervising a development team.
• Split focus between active development and team leadership, maintaining meaningful ownership of both (50/50).
• Contribute directly to application development, technical design, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Guide and support engineers through coaching, goal setting, performance discussions, and career development.
• Partner closely with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to plan work, manage priorities, and deliver reliable solutions.
• Help improve engineering practices, development workflows, and quality standards across the team.
• Work with distributed engineering groups across the U.S., Mexico, and Costa Rica, with limited travel as needed to support collaboration.
