Your Role
As a Software Developer (LabVIEW), you will play a key role in developing and enhancing automation software for our advanced systems. You will work on diverse projects, integrating hardware and software to deliver innovative solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage projects in close collaboration with your team.
- Quickly gain a deep understanding of existing software architectures (PC/LabVIEW) and enhance or extend them with new solutions.
- Integrate hardware components (e.g., drive systems, image processing systems, electronic modules) into equipment control software.
- Translate customer requirements into robust software solutions and develop an understanding of their processes and products.
- Handle requirements management, version control, and software validation.
- Analyze and resolve internal and external issues, including direct customer interaction when needed.
- Contribute to optimizing operational workflows and quality control processes.
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with strong expertise in software development, ideally in machine control.
- Proven experience in managing development or research projects independently (academic or professional).
- Advanced proficiency in LabVIEW programming
. - Familiarity with PLC systems and/or industrial bus systems and interfaces is a plus.
- Knowledge of software compliance standards (e.g., GMP) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Flexible, independent, and creative approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑oriented mindset.
- Careful, responsible, and detail‑oriented working style.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
- German language skills are an advantage and facilitate day‑to‑day collaboration.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
