Overall experience: 8-10 years
Minimum Java experience: 6 years of development and coding
Minimum Hadoop, Hive, Big Data experience: 3 years
Description:
Extensive server-side Java experience, especially in open source, data-intensive, distributed environments.
Experience implementing high-end software products in telecom, financial, healthcare, or hospitality domains.
Experience with open source projects; contributions are a plus.
Deep knowledge of Java, J2EE, and EAI patterns.
Experience handling projects with large data sizes (GB/PB) and high complexity.
Understanding of architectural concepts like Multi-tenancy, SOA, SCA, and non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability.
Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of database principles, SQL, and experience with large databases.
Familiarity with complete SDLC and PDLC processes.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of managing pressure.
Experience with batch processing and real-time systems using open source technologies like Solr, Hadoop, No
SQL databases, Storm, Kafka, etc.
- Implement solutions for large data processing (GBs/PBs) using No
SQL, Hadoop, and MPP products. - Participate in architecture and design discussions with Big Data clients.
- Collaborate with senior architects and provide implementation details to offshore teams.
- Conduct technical sessions, write whitepapers, and case studies on Big Data topics.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Share knowledge within the organization through training and technical sessions.
