Java Backend Developer

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Backend Developer position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Duration: 12 months

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.
• Build microservices and integrations with Apache Camel, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Work with databases (Couchbase, Oracle, Redis, No
  
  SQL) and design DB architectures.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes/Open Shift.
• Monitor and optimize applications with Dynatrace.
• Collaborate on performance testing and QA using JMeter, JUnit, and Postman.
• Maintain and enhance systems including GNST, MT, NRD, NTR, and related systems.

• 4 years of Java backend API development.
• Strong Vert.x experience.
• Experience with GNST and 1 year with MT, NRD, NTR, or similar systems.
• Proficient with Spring, Spring Boot, Graph
  
  QL, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes/Open Shift, Hadoop/HDFS, API development, and monitoring tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
