Join the dynamic Flight Management System team at Honeywell Aerospace, where we design, develop, and integrate complex systems for our Anthem Next Generation Avionics project.
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer passionate about creating innovative software solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and developing high‑quality core software architecture and applications.
- Integrating Flight Management software for new product development.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implementing software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Testing and integration on test benches in labs.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Strong C++ or object‑oriented programming skills.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong software architecture and design skills.
- Advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience developing software for embedded systems.
- Multi‑core / multi‑thread development experience.
- Knowledge of OOAD principles.
- Experience with DO‑178C and related software verification and validation.
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
