About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java/Microservices Technology Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience in Spring Cloud Spring Boot Spring Integration Java Spring MVC Spring Core and Spring Framework. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Asset and Wealth Management. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can design and implement robust technology solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and enhancing our service offerings.

• Design and implement scalable technology solutions using Spring Cloud Spring Boot and related technologies to meet business needs in Asset and Wealth Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the architecture aligns with the company’s strategic goals and enhances operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the development process and product quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements and innovations.
• Ensure the security and compliance of all technology solutions with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations to enhance user experience.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure project success.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

• Possess extensive experience in Spring Cloud Spring Boot Spring Integration Java Spring MVC Spring Core and Spring Framework.
• Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in Asset and Wealth Management.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Show proficiency in designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a hybrid work model.

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
