We are seeking an experienced
Java Backend Lead with 10+ years of experience to lead backend architecture, design, and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, ensure high-quality code delivery, and drive the successful execution of large-scale enterprise projects.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
• Drive technical decision-making and establish engineering best practices.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, standards enforcement, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security initiatives.

• Previous experience working with American Express (AMEX) projects or environments.
• Knowledge of OneAMEX platform, processes, or ecosystem.
• Experience building highly scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications.
• Exposure to large-scale financial services or payment processing systems.

The total compensation range for this role is $59,040 – $73,800 USD
.
