As part of the Movement Solutions Department, the Associate - Movement Solutions will directly contribute to the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club’s (MBBC) application of baseball sports science, biomechanics, and performance principles. This position will work closely with the Player Development (on‑field staff) and High‑Performance staff, including but not limited to Athlete Availability, Performance Psychology, Player Health, Player Performance, and Training Design.

• Assist in day‑to‑day operations of Movement Solutions programs across the organization as it pertains to equipment functionality, data collection, data processing, and data analysis.
• Assist in design, development, and implementation of novel research protocols using various applied research technologies to assess and develop elite‑level baseball talent.
• Collaborate with other departments (High Performance, Player Development, Scouting, Technology Operations, etc.) to translate and apply research findings into programs/applications aimed at improving player performance and talent identification.

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree (M.S.) from a four‑year college or university in Exercise Science (Biomechanics) or closely related field. Proficient utilizing biomechanical equipment (e.g., Motion Capture, Force Plates, EMG, IMUs), and biomechanical analysis (Kinetics, Kinematics, Musculoskeletal Modeling).

Movement Solutions aims to develop an integrated holistic process that utilizes biomechanical & sports science information to improve player evaluation and inform decision‑making across all of Baseball Operations. We utilize an integrated Player‑Development and High‑Performance model that creates a foundation for each athlete’s development by applying research and scientific principles to support data‑informed decision making.
