Overview

Autonomous Specialists are critical to delivering safe autonomous driving systems to our customers, enabling a revolutionary mobility experience.

• Vacation: minimum of one (1) week
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 6 days

• Operate/drive a van, truck, or other vehicle—alone or with a co‑driver, five days a week; able to sit still and stand for long periods of time.
• Respond quickly to changing and potentially high‑pressure environments.
• Gather, lift and transport heavy computer equipment of up to 50 pounds.
• Install equipment and ensure it starts successfully.
• Complete duties in a timely manner while adhering to schedules.
• Complete daily reports and documents.
• Assist with simple vehicle adjustments and settings while cars are parked.
• Set up cars for charging and maneuver cars in parking lot.
• Disinfect cars, work stations and prepare sanitization kits.
• Maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicle.
• Work mostly individually but also in small groups of 2‑10 people.
• Act as deputy for vehicle launch and preparation.
• Communicate any uploading errors while focusing on high‑priority uploads.
• Package and ship equipment needing repair.
• Assist with asset inventory/check‑in/check‑out process.
• Push shift efficiency (Fast Startup).
• Basic troubleshooting at shift startup.
• Ensure startup and shift‑end checklists are followed.
• Demonstrate continuous development and proficiency in the above key responsibilities in preparation for advancement into autonomous vehicle operations and other technical roles.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required; a four‑year college degree (preferred) in a related field such as industrial or applied sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads; additional experience preferred.

• Proficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps (Gmail, Chats, Drive, Sheets, Docs).
• Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone;
  Android preferred but not required.
• Type at least 40 adjusted words per minute.
• Maintain a driving record that meets state AVT (Autonomous Vehicle Tester) and/or other applicable regulations.
• Meet driver requirements, including driving record and criminal history under applicable regulations in the state(s) where the vehicle will operate.
• Ability to parallel park with minimal assistance preferred.
• Good attention to detail.
• Adapt quickly to new and developing technology and processes.
• Work specific shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel up to one month.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be self‑motivated and demonstrate good judgment in fast‑paced, high‑stress environments.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

• Occasional long periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
• Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders and use hands/fingers; ability to talk and/or hear.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus.
• Most work is performed outdoors in a vehicle.

• Must be 21 years old.
• Upon acceptance, must enroll in a commercial driving program and participate in a randomized drug testing program.
• Maintain a driving record with no more than 1 point and no convictions for DUI or drug‑related offenses.
• Must not have had any driver’s license suspension or revocation under driving or operating any vehicle under the influence in the past 10 years.
• Must not have been the at‑fault driver of an accident resulting in injury or death.
• All employees must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
