Box truck driver is responsible for ensuring the transport of company and customer cargo (with GVW of less than 10,000 lbs.) to designated facilities. The driver is responsible for the loading, securing, transport, and delivery of cargo safely and efficiently. The driver is also responsible for ensuring that the company vehicle assigned to the employee is maintained in roadworthy condition and that he/she obeys all applicable vehicle laws in the state of Arizona.

The driver is responsible for the loading, securing, transport, and delivery of cargo safely and efficiently. The driver is also responsible for ensuring that the company vehicle assigned to the employee is maintained in roadworthy condition and that he/she obeys all applicable vehicle laws in the state of Arizona.

• Check the truck daily for any leaks or potential problems.
• Check daily bins for pick up assignments. All must be approved by a manager before pick up or delivery can be done.
• Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to DMV and AZ Highway Patrol.
• Follow all Shipping and Delivery Company procedures.
• End of day:
  Return truck, clean, and unload.
• Ensure assigned trucking equipment is kept clean and orderly.

• Be responsible for various paperwork.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, preventative and general light maintenance.
• Keep all DOT and company regulated logs.
• Provide courteous customer service.
• Have a good DMV record.
• The ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Positive attitude, good people skills, and motivation for job efficiency.

• The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Load/unload product using pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Current license.
• No accidents or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Must have recent K4 from DMV.

This job operates in a professional warehouse and public environment. This role routinely uses forklifts, and other mechanical lifting devices to load and offload cargo. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Full-time position. Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Early or late shift work and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This position requires travel to other company and customer facilities.
