Smith Transport is hiring CDL-A & CDL-B tanker drivers! Looking for steady freight, reliable schedules, and strong pay? Smith Transport’s 7-Axle tanker division offers consistent work, predictable home time, and excellent weekly earnings.

Starting pay: $26/hour + Overtime pay Annual earnings: $104,000+ average

Raises:
At 6, 9, and 12 months

Weekly hours: 60–65 on average

Overtime paid after 40 hours

Home time schedule for Washington, PA drivers is 5 day on / 2 day offHome time schedules for drivers who live across the US would be commitment of several weeks onsite and one week off

Company paid lodging at high-quality hotels for drivers who live outside of Washington, PA

Late-model Peterbilt tankers

All trucks are 18 speed transmissions

Paid orientation: 2.5 days in Roaring Spring, PA Company-paid travel, meals & lodging

Orientation led by experienced Smith Transport drivers

Valid Class A or B CDL license Minimum 6+ months experience

Must be able to operate 18-speed manual trucks

Tanker endorsement required

Any candidate who has violated the Department of Transportation’s drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.
