Warehouse pullers are responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the loading dock in a manner that meets the company’s standards for productivity, efficiency, and responsibility. The order puller is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. The order puller must be consistent, attentive to detail and informed about the products the company provides to be able to provide the customers exactly what they need and expect.
They will select according to a pick ticket, inspect for quality and transfer this product to the dock.
Normal Weekly Schedule – 4 days from Sunday to Friday, 10‑hour shifts
Shift Start Times – 3 pm shifts or 7 pm shifts
Must be able to endure a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures as low as 30 degrees, and capable of standing for long periods of time.
Responsibilities- Locate and accurately pull orders in a timely fashion (minimum 130 p/h, 150 p/h average).
- Stage orders together on the dock.
- Load checked orders onto trucks (as needed).
- Pull shorted items when assigned to shorts (as needed).
- Ensure the accuracy of pulled product (double check quality and quantity).
- Follow truck loading and unloading procedures.
- Follow inventory procedures (First in, first out).
- Clean and maintain the warehouse inside and out (including all coolers; pick up trash; sweep floor and back dock area and empty trash as needed).
- Communicate with supervisors and warehouse department employees any issues related to performing duties.
- Find and communicate ways to improve and/or increase productivity.
- Maintain a safe work environment. Follow all HACCP, SQF and OSHA rules and regulations.
- Must be able to endure a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures as low as 30 degrees, and capable of standing for long periods of time.
- Must have basic math skills and reading comprehension while working under pressure.
- Able to frequently lift 50–75 pounds unassisted.
- Must pass a pre‑employment, post‑accident and random drug testing and physical lift test.
- Must be self‑motivated, organized and have excellent communication skills.
- Meet company standards for productivity while ensuring correct quantity.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis. The schedule is 5 to 6 days and willing to work weekends/paid hourly.
