Warehouse Associate, Forklift Operator, Material Handler, General Labor
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.
- Forklift, pallet jack, and/or other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, equipment type, model, or part number
- Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
- Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders, and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to center purchase orders
- Performs proper packing and prep of all outbound orders
- Performs QA check for equipment readiness and accuracy
- Follow safety regulations while operating equipment
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Preferred 3 to 6 months experience in a warehouse environment
- Training provided as necessary
- Previous shipping/distribution and/or warehouse experience preferred
- Must be able to successfully pass and maintain forklift certification
- operate power industrial equipment as needed
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. T his employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
