AffiliationThe University is an Associate Member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Among its Governing Members, the CCCU includes highly respected institutions such as Eastern University, Geneva College, Houghton College, Malone University, Messiah College, Regent University, Roberts Wesleyan College, Vanguard University, and Wheaton College.
Program AccreditationThe UVF Social Work program is nationally recognized by the Council on Social Work Education and has been accredited by CSWE since 2012. The UVF Social Work program recently completed a comprehensive self-study for CSWE and has been reaffirmed for the period of 2016- 2024. This national accreditation enables graduates of the UVF Social Work program to be eligible for advanced-standing in CSWE accredited Master’s level social work program thereby eliminating one year of a two year Master’s program.
