Patient Care Technician – Phoenixville Hospital
We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician to provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves acute‑care patient support across multiple medical units.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients under RN supervision.
- Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Observe patients, report changes in condition to the registered nurse.
- Carry out specific skills including phlebotomy and point‑of‑care testing (POCT).
- Assist with all aspects of daily living activities, including general hygiene, dressing changes, light housekeeping, and vitals.
- Participate in shared governance and career advancement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Age 18 or older.
- Prior direct patient care experience preferred, though not required.
- BLS certification required.

Unit 2 South – Med‑Surg/Telemetry: 30‑bed unit on the second floor of the South Tower building, offering telemetry cardiac monitoring. Frequently treats cardiovascular, respiratory, diabetes, and infectious conditions; surgical patients include general surgery, GYN, ENT, and urology.
