Patient Care Technician - North

Located in Phoenixville, PA, Phoenixville Hospital is a 144‑bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs.

As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, perform routine direct patient care activities, observe patient conditions and report changes, carry out phlebotomy and point‑of‑care testing, and assist with patients’ daily living activities.

• Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the registered nurse.
• Conduct specific skills such as phlebotomy and point‑of‑care testing (POCT).
• Assist with all aspects of daily living activities for patients, including general hygiene, changing, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: Prior direct patient care experience preferred, but not required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
