CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work at our Phoenixville, PA location. Traveling is required to our Pottstown office as well.
Please note this position is entitled to a $1,000 sign-on bonus.*
Responsibilities
- Work with an assigned physician daily
- Escort patients to the exam room
- Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
- Perform stress testing and EKGs
- Follow up on lab results
- Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary
- Assist with appointment scheduling.
- Review and prepare the next day's assignments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
- BLS required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing
