Job SummaryTelephone Operators are responsible for answering and directing all incoming outside and in‑house calls. The major responsibilities include providing approved patient information upon request, paging physicians, scheduling on‑call services, keeping on‑call schedules updated in the hospital paging system, and alerting hospital staff to all medical emergencies per hospital procedures. Telephone operators also direct patients and visitors to all areas in the hospital using the hospital link system and are trained to provide pager support services for hospital staff.
FullTime Position
Hours are 10:30 pm–7:00 am with every other weekend and every other holiday required.
