We are seeking candidates to join our company as a Printing Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Directs and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Printing and Sheeting departments, by providing leadership and supervision to subordinates and serves as the link between direct reports and middle/upper management. They understand and align business operations and the Department as they execute their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Directs the printing and sheeting production of all items at the lowest cost consistent with established specifications in terms of quality and quantity.
• Develops, recommends, and implements operating policies and ensures the application of such policies.
• Coordinates and collaborates with all departments of the plant in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
• Manages employees by establishing performance goals, allocating resources, and assessing performance.
• Provides leadership directed at continuous improvement in safety, quality / customer satisfaction, and productivity.
• Provides leadership and direction to production management and employees to continuously improve quality, reduce waste and increase throughput.
• Assists and supports Plant and Operation Manager in all aspects.
• Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values:

• Other duties as assigned

• Manufacturing experience required
• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience within the printing environment
• Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts and clamp trucks preferred
• 3-5 years of leadership skills – must have the ability to motivate people to perform at high levels
