$18.00/hr – $18.00/hr

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift within designated guidelines
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Transport materials across the facility in a safe, organized manner
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation
• Assist with general plant operations and maintenance tasks
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any issues
• Maintain awareness and take action to prevent hazards
• Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment

• Must have previous forklift experience
• Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company
• Ability to work independently with a positive, safety-focused attitude
• Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check

• Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration
• Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment
• Typical schedule:
  
  8-12 hour shifts, 5-7 days/week during peak season; occasional night work

Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and reaching (waist to shoulder height); occasional lifting/pushing/pulling 50-75 lbs; occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing. Ability to maintain required vision (close, distance, depth perception).
