Registered Nurse First Assist - RNFA

Responsibilities:

• Work Schedule:
  
  (3) 7A-730P;
  Minimal on call requirement filling in on occasional weeknights and weekends when on call team is off. One holiday of on call required per year
• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR - Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency OR enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 6 credits completed within previous 12 months.
• Experience 2-3 years of first assist in multiple specialties including robotics, vascular/endo-vascular, spine and total joints
• PA Registered Nurse License
