Cook – Phoenixville Hospital

Location:

140 Nutt Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Online applications accepted only. Full‑time schedule:
Monday‑Friday, hours variable; must work every other weekend. Position filled immediately.

Requirement: Previous cook experience required.

Prepares food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

• Prepare high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery with correct portioning, temperature, and appearance.
• Use ticket collection procedures during service and keep records.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, refrigerators, and storerooms.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Perform duties safely and maintain a clean environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and HACCP compliance.
• Commit to safety of self and others.
• Abide by company policies including proper glove usage, oven mitts, slip‑resistant shoes, and lifting techniques.
