• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2–5 years of successful outside sales experience in the Electrical Distribution or related industrial sector.
• Proven experience working with customer types such as Owners, Purchasing Agents, Maintenance and Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators.

• Strong knowledge of electrical products, their applications, and industry‑specific solutions.
• Ability to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
• Familiarity with customer job site operations and the ability to align solutions to customer‑specific needs and market focus.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage strategic customer relationships, with a deep understanding of client operations and project needs.
• Skilled in closing sales, handling objections, and executing effective selling techniques.
• Ability to determine sales priorities based on revenue potential and account strategy.
• Competence in price setting and negotiation, ensuring competitive and profitable outcomes.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Consistently schedule and conduct joint sales calls with shared service divisions and coordinate with Inside Sales teams to support customer needs.
• Monitor and report on competitive activity and market trends.
