This is an overnight position:

The right Direct Support Professional should possess strong interactive skills and a positive, creative, and energetic attitude to support these individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities who have challenging communication and behaviors. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalency, minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, valid driver's license, and pass background checks.

Position:Direct Support Professional (Nights)
Hours:
Thursday 1 am to 7 am and Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7 pm to 7 am
- Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of developmental/intellectual disabilities.
- Assist with job supports, self‑care, recreational activities, and community inclusion.
- Transport clients to appointments as needed.
- Advocate for clients during work assignments.
- Assist with feeding and hygiene.
- Duties may be discussed with the employer based on client needs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities in the last three (3) years.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Current CPR training.
- Will submit to an extensive background check and drug screening before employment offer can be made.
