Part-time Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking a part-time small animal Associate Veterinarian to join our team at Picayune Animal Hospital in Pearl River County, Mississippi.

Our full-service animal hospital offers comprehensive medical services for dogs, cats, livestock, and horses from across Pearl River County, Mississippi. From preventive care and dental services for pets to large animal care, our broad and varied service offering is designed to meet the veterinary needs of the community all in one place. We care for Picayune’s companion animals, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs.

• Provide routine and urgent veterinary care for dogs and cats, including preventive care and wellness visits.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using the hospital's tools: cold laser, ultrasound, digital radiology, and thermal imaging.
• Conduct dental x-ray and dental procedures; participate in surgical cases as appropriate.
• Provide daytime emergency care when needed and utilize the in-house laboratory for diagnostics.
• Support client communication and education; maintain accurate medical records.
