Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.

The data collection project involves taking images of streets, points of interest and public areas in the USA using a car with 360 cameras mounted on top that image the area around the vehicle and store those images on onboard computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one of the most popular online maps in the world.

Data collectors will follow specific routes around public streets and areas, targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Weather may require multiple visits to collect the best quality imagery. The project is expected to last 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area and traffic trends, and is highly responsible and reliable.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day (40 hours per week). Due to weather downtime, work on weekends is possible.

• Drive designated routes on public streets and areas.
• Operate 360-degree cameras mounted on the vehicle to capture imagery.
• Ensure data is collected accurately and stored on onboard systems.
• Maintain reliability, punctuality, and adherence to project schedules.
• Communicate effectively and report progress as required.

• Must have a valid Driver Licence;
• Good driving skills and clean driving record;
• General car knowledge would be a plus;
• Enjoys driving, within standard business hours;
• Available for a minimum of 3 months;
• Must have private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle;
• Great communication and reporting skills;
• Tech savvy (Gmail, Google Forms and Google Meet);
• High level of responsibility;
• Self-motivated and detail oriented;
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check (criminal and driving record).
