Mechanical Design Engineer
£36,000 - £38,000 + Progression + Specialist Training + Flexi‑hours + Excellent Company Benefits.
Located:
Kirkbymoorside, Thirsk, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Helmsley.
Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who will turn complex requirements into practical, high‑quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities- Produce precise mechanical designs and 3D models for components, sub‑assemblies and full assemblies using CAD.
- Work with internal teams and customers to deliver high‑quality products.
- Apply engineering best practices to meet project specifications.
- Mechanical Design Engineer with a manufacturing background.
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modelling tools such as Solid Works.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and customer teams.
- Competitive salary £36,000 - £38,000.
- Flexible hours (core 9am - 4pm).
