HR Administration Assistant - Part time

Reporting to the HR Director this is a part time role of 20 hours aweek over 4 days. Located on-site at the Steam & Moorland Garden Centre. We are looking for a highly organised HR Administrator to provide day to day HR administration and support across the business.

The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date employee records, managing HR documentation and supporting the Managers and Directors acting as a helpful point of contact for employees with HR associated queries. THe suitable candidate would have a good understanding of HR processes and employment practices and confidence to deal with sensitive and confidential matters professionally.

• Managing all HR documentation on our Breathe HR portal
• Complete documentation and maintain records relating to holidays, absence, reviews and probation periods.
• Work with our external consultants to ensure HR processes are kept up to date and distributed to all staff
• Assist with recruitment and retention , working pro-actively with Managers to identify risks and opportunities
• Coordinate annual employee reviews ensuring Managers have the correct tools to complete the reviews effectively

This role is an onsite role and ideally we are looking for someone who is available to work four days a week ideally between 8:30am and 1:30pm but there is flexibility around this. A HR qualification is not necessary asdiscretion, empathy, an ability to complete documentation accurately while responding to colleagues queries in a professional manner.
