Operations Assistant

• Location: Keldy (North Yorkshire)
• Salary: £12.71 per hour
• Working Hours: Full-time, 38 hours.
• Days of Work: 5 days out of 7
  -Working every other weekend and one late shift a week until 7:30pm.

Our cabins at Keldy are deep in the forest; some are just visible between the trees and others enjoy an outlook onto grassy, sunlit glades. Here, surrounded by nature, you can truly relax.

As our Operations Assistant
, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our Forest location running smoothly behind the scenes. From maintaining our cabins to ensuring every facility is in top condition, your work plays a vital role in creating a seamless and enjoyable stay for every guest.

Set within a peaceful woodland environment, this role offers a refreshing alternative to typical maintenance positions. You’ll enjoy a balanced work schedule while working outdoors and as part of a supportive team, all while contributing to the unique Forest Holidays experience.

You’ll take a hands-on approach to a variety of operational tasks, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and ready for guests to enjoy from the moment they arrive.

• Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests.
• Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating (basic knowledge desirable).
• Paying attention to the little details and delivering daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
• Taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be adynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. Alove for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
• Some previous experience in a similar role.
• Comfortable working independently.
• A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.
• A full clean UK driving license.
