Pickering Tearoom Assistant - Seasonal

Location: Based in Pickering Station, Pickering.

Contract: Seasonal.

Salary:We are a Real Living Wage Employer - Hourly Rate £13.45 (over 18).

We are looking for someone to cover 2‑3 shifts per week to include weekends. Approx 8‑18 hours per week (additional hours may be available if required) Age 17+.

Our main Season operates until 1st November 2026. This is a Fixed Term post until 1st November 2026.

• Assist in all aspects of food preparation and service to visitors and working members of the NYMR in a friendly, professional & profitable manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the premises, to clean and wipe tables & keep the tearoom clean and well stocked.
• Follow all health & safety procedures, ensuring good food hygiene practices are adhered to at all times, ensuring the tearoom retains its level 5 food standard rating.
• 22 days annual leave per year - pro rata for part-time/part-year.
