Part Sales Coordinator

Location:

Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire

Hours:

Full-time, 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm (4pm Friday). Flexi-time is available.

Dependent on experience

We are working with a well‑established, global manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a Part Sales Coordinator.

This is a great opportunity to join a structured, quality‑driven business where you will play a key role in supporting the sales process, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure orders are delivered efficiently and accurately.

The role
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, providing timely and professional responses
  • Prepare and issue quotations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Process sales orders and maintain accurate records within internal systems
  • Liaise with planning, production, and purchasing teams to confirm costs, availability, and delivery times
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to the Part Sales Manager
  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding order progress, updates, and changes
  • Work in line with company procedures, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and support continuous improvement within the team
You will have
  • Experience in a customer‑facing, sales support, or coordination role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Good attention to detail, particularly when handling orders and documentation
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment
Desirable experience
  • Experience using ERP or MRP systems, ideally Business Central or similar
  • Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environment
  • Understanding of quality standards such as ISO or working within regulated environments
  • Awareness of export or compliance processes
