Part Sales Coordinator
Location:
Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire
Hours:
Full-time, 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm (4pm Friday). Flexi-time is available.
Salary:
Dependent on experience
We are working with a well‑established, global manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a Part Sales Coordinator.
This is a great opportunity to join a structured, quality‑driven business where you will play a key role in supporting the sales process, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure orders are delivered efficiently and accurately.
The role- Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, providing timely and professional responses
- Prepare and issue quotations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Process sales orders and maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Liaise with planning, production, and purchasing teams to confirm costs, availability, and delivery times
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Part Sales Manager
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding order progress, updates, and changes
- Work in line with company procedures, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and support continuous improvement within the team
- Experience in a customer‑facing, sales support, or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships both internally and externally
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling orders and documentation
- Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems, ideally Business Central or similar
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environment
- Understanding of quality standards such as ISO or working within regulated environments
- Awareness of export or compliance processes
