Revenue Accountant

Overview

Audit daily revenue integrations, assess reasonableness of interface control account balances, investigate variances, and maintain compliance with internal control requirements.

• Audit general ledger interface accounts using three‑way matching and other controls for high‑volume transaction data.
• Investigate variances to establish root causes and prevent recurring errors.
• Collaborate with IT, SAP external consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues on ERP Revenue and Payment interfaces.
• Maintain documentation supporting audit work plans.
• Identify and resolve revenue interface issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Ensure revenue reporting procedures are maintained in compliance with internal control requirements.
• Perform accounting duties: review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts; perform revenue and payment reconciliations; analyze major variances; verify validity of transactions processed in SAP; prepare and post journal entries in SAP.
• Prepare monthly revenue and transaction volume reports and support the development of future revenue metrics reporting.
• Lead specific revenue sections of annual external audit and internal audit projects.
• Support system updates, new interfaces, and change‑management testing as required.
• Perform backup administrative tasks for other finance positions when required.

• Post‑secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• CPA in‑progress preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting and audit experience.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially advanced Excel (look‑up functions, complex logical statements, charts, pivot tables).
• Experience working with SAP S/4
  
  HANA preferred.

$75,000 – $88,000 per year. May be eligible for discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, vision benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
