Join a dynamic manufacturing company as a Staff Accountant in Pickering, ON, with a focus on full-time onsite work. This role engages you in financial reporting, month-end close, and cross-border accounting across Canadian and U.S. operations.
The ideal candidate will possess 3–5 years of experience and a background in manufacturing. You will be instrumental in maintaining the general ledger, preparing customer invoices, and analyzing financial transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy. This position also offers opportunities for continuous improvement and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage compliance and financial reporting for U.S. operations
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and close
• Prepare and maintain customer invoices and records
• Provide support for budgeting and financial analysis
• Identify and implement accounting process improvements
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of month-end procedures
• Familiarity with ASPE guidelines
• Advanced Excel and experience with Sage 300 or Dynamics 365
