Overview

Project Manager - (Water/Wastewater Construction). Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for an experienced Structural / Architectural Project Manager to join our Civil construction division in Mississauga, Ontario. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of the Duffin Creek WPCP Biosolids Treatment Replacement project in Pickering, Ontario. As a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to manage Water and Wastewater projects, working alongside other construction professionals who are passionate about the work they do.

Leadership and accountability are the keys to a successful project. This role is site based and will require daily travel to the project you will be assigned to. The potential to take on larger, more challenging projects is available.

• Developing successful relationships with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Effectively managing the project with the skills you have and following Maple Reinders’ processes and procedures to ensure each project is delivered with quality and consistency.
• Sharing knowledge by mentoring junior Project Managers and Coordinators, guiding them to progress in their careers.

Project Managers are responsible for Water, Wastewater related projects typically in the value of $20–$50M. To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate will have:

• 5 or more years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor.
• A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Experience working on Renewable Natural Gas and/or Water/Wastewater projects is considered an asset.
• Previous experience as a structural and/or architectural project manager is mandatory.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $145,000 per year (depending on experience). Location will be a mix of in office (Mississauga) and on-site (Pickering).
