Position: Electrician General Foreman Role
Join Aecon as an Electrician General Foreman overseeing critical refurbishment at Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. Ensure construction excellence and strict adherence to safety standards daily.

In this vital role, under the Electrical Superintendent’s guidance, you will coordinate and supervise construction activities related to the Excitation System upgrade for Ontario Power Generation. Your expertise will ensure compliance with project specifications and safety protocols while supporting subcontractor efforts and scheduling. Ideal candidates will have profound knowledge of construction practices and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor subcontractor compliance with the project master schedule

• Develop detailed look-ahead schedules for effective task management

• Direct trades and subcontractors on construction tasks

• Maintain safety records and project documentation

• Ensure quality assurance according to Aecon’s guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Certification

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in construction

• In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and methods

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong organizational and communication capabilities
