Site Engineer (Contract) | Pickering & Dalby Forest | Until March 2027
Your newpanyA prestigious organisation is embarking on an exciting construction project within the stunning surroundings of Dalby Forest. The project will involve the creation of a new mountain bike facility and an accessible toilet unit, supporting increased visitor access and enhancing recreational infrastructure within the area.
Your new roleWe are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project team on a contract basis until the end of March 2027. Based between the Pickering office and site locations within Dalby Forest, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through topletion.
Key responsibilities will include:
Setting out works and ensuring accuracy throughout constructionOverseeing site activities and supervising subcontractorsProducing and managing scopes of workPreparing and reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)Monitoring project budgets and costsEnsuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specificationSupporting project planning and coordination during the pre-construction phaseLiaising with stakeholders, contractors, and project teamsInitially, the role will involve a mixture of office and site-based duties, with approximately 1–2 days per week in the Pickering office and 1 day on site. Once construction activitiesmence, the role will be predominantly site-focused.
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week, with 8-hour working days.
