Aecon is under contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to carry out the Turbine Generator Refurbishment at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the purchase of commodities, equipment, and services for the PNGS TGR Project.

• The primary function of this position will be to ensure the timely delivery, receipt, and processing of project materials, including permanent and temporary plant materials, tools, consumables, and engineered items.
• Ensure that all quality-related materials are handled in accordance with the quality program, and ensure compliance with the storage of pressure boundary materials.
• Maintain effective communication between the project team, engineering, and procurement to ensure materials are delivered in accordance with the required quality requirements while adhering to the project schedule.
