Health and Safety Manager for Deep-Water Intake

The successful candidate will develop and manage health and safety programs specific to the refurbishment of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station's deep-water intake. With at least 10 years of field experience and 5 years in a leadership role, you will oversee the H&S Coordinators, ensuring rigorous safety standards across all project dimensions. Your direct involvement will enhance a positive safety culture amid complex construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and update the Construction H&S Management Plan
• Supervise and coordinate H&S staff across onshore, marine, and tunnel operations
• Conduct training sessions on construction safety methods
• Plan site inspections and generate safety reports
• Facilitate Safety in Design workshops and meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years in large-scale construction projects
• At least 5 years in a health and safety leadership role
• Certified NCSO-IHSA or CRSP, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Ontario safety regulations and audits
• Proficient in risk assessments and safety training
